Family Based Services
Greater Minnesota Family Based Services are provided by our dedicated professional counseling staff. Our staff consist of experienced Masters and Bachelors level counselors and therapists-mental health professionals and practitioners-who treat families with the care and respect they deserve during times of crisis and unrest. We work to prevent out of home placements, to keep the child in the home with the family where they belong.
In-Home Family Services
Individual and Family Counseling or Therapy, Diagnostic Assessment, Parent Education and Supportive Services for clients and families to assist with prevention of out of home placement or reunification.
Diagnostic Services
Diagnositc Assessments for clients birth to age 18 across the GMFS service area.
Family Group Decision Making
Facilitated, confidential meeting between family, friends, and service providers to examine and prioritize the needs of a child's health, safety and wellbeing.
Safety Planning
Safety planning to help parents create and demonstrate future safety for children in families that are reuniting after child maltreatemnt has occurred or has been alleged.
