Greater Minnesota Family Services and Heartland Girls’ Ranch
Greater Minnesota Family Services provides the majority of the mental health services at Heartland Girls’ Ranch.
We provide services such as individual, group, and family therapy in collaboration with Heartland Girls Ranch. Services such as psychiatry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and academics are also provided at Heartland Girls’ Ranch with collaboration of local agencies.
Located in Benson, MN, Heartland Girls’ Ranch is a group home licensed by the MN Department of Corrections. The Ranch is home to 25 horses, and the house can accommodate 24 residents.
The Heartland Girls' Ranch program provides a supportive, structured environment in which girls ages 12 to 21 learn to make responsible choices and become mature young women. The main program operates on a five-level system. There are specific assignments and privileges to correspond with levels.
